Gerber Launches Reusable Diaper

All-in-One resusable cloth diapers use moisture-wicking technology

Gerber has introduced a contender in the reusable diaper market. It’s All-in-One Reusable Cloth Diaper is said to feature easy-on/easy-off design to provide a secure fit and prevent prevent leaks. Interior moisture is controlled by a cotton lining that features TransDRY moisture-wicking technology.

Other features of the reusable diaper include hook-and-loop closures that combine the ease of soft fasteners with the security of snaps, soft, patentpending elasticized inner waist and leg openings and gussets on the leg openings to provide additional leakage protection.

The Gerber All-in-One Diaper may be the first performance product for infants because of a special cotton lining that utilizes the same TransDRY technology found in a range of cotton athletic apparel for adults. The TransDRY technology works by accelerating the movement of moisture away from the skin for fast evaporation—a high-tech advantage in keeping babies dry and comfortable. When additional protection is needed, the liner has a pocket that can be stuffed with a diaper insert.

The diapers are now available at amazon.com and target.com and will soon be offered by additional online retailers.
